Now for basketball, I love this sport. the stratagey that goes into it, the non stop action, the underdogs, the mental mindset you have to be in to play. How you can be down by 15 points and still be technically in the game. I know how I’ve said I love indiana, but tonight, was the best basketball game I’ve ever been a part of.
the score was like 10-3 at the end of the first quarter. we came back and were only down 17-12 at halftime. coach gave a great halftime speech, but we got down by as much as 11 points with 3 minutes left in the third quarter. then I dont know what coach said, but he got a technical.
Now here is a stat: Rasheed Wallace of the Detroit Pistons, gets more than 10 points in a game when he gets a technical than when he doesn’t. and relating it to the movie hoosiers again, Norman Dale, the coach, gets purposely thrown out of a game in order to fire his team up, did coach todd do that? Who knows.
So we came back and took the lead 42-41 with 1 minute left in the 4th quarter. and then it became a game of freethrows. We made ours and they didnt and we won 46-43. it was so intense we charged the court afterwords. great game
